Like the turtle on the fence post, we too are indebted to others for the pedestal of Freedom we occupy.
The poster features names some of the people, from biblical times to the founders of our free society, who mutually pledged their lives, fortunes, and sacred honor that we could have the blessings of Freedom. These men and women are representative of the thousands who built our pedestal of Freedom.
Each of us has parents, mentors, and role models who contributed to positioning us on the pedestal of Freedom. In this blessed land, we all drink from wells we did not dig. |
