Grateful Greetings July 4, 1981
As we gird up to make a "new beginning," let us look at three ideas:
FREEDOM - OPPORTUNITY - RESPONSIBILITY
FREEDOM - For individuals to grow to their highest potential physically, mentally, socially and spiritually, they must be free to choose how they will use their Time-Talent-Treasure.
OPPORTUNITY - The essence of freedom for the individual is opportunity. Only the individual can grasp the opportunity; no one can do it for another.
RESPONSIBILITY - Individual responsibility is the foundation of freedom. Only the responsible individual can survive and sustain freedom.
The three T's on the drawing symbolize Time-Talent-Treasure. If we as individuals will use our Time, Talent, and Treasure as a trust held under God, there will be a "new beginning" FOR PEOPLE.
