"Old Mother Hubbard went to the cupboard to get her poor dog a bone, and when she got there the cupboard was bare and so the poor dog had none."
And so it is, we can't give away something we do not have. Without the right of private property, which is the foundation of the private sector, we have nothing to give. If government owns all, government gives all, i.e. Russia.
In this blessed land, we believe that our right to private property comes from our Creator. It then follows that all private property must be held in trust under God. In this spirit, we are free to support our family, education, religion, research, charities, or any type of philanthropy.
May each of us do our homework so we will know we were cold last winter because of the interference of our government in the private sector.
All workers in this country, regardless of how we earn our living, have exactly the same thing to lose-our freedom-if the private sector is eliminated.
